At the request of Project Mercy, a cohort of Regis University graduate and undergraduate students in collaboration with multiple community partners is working to raise $75,000 for a new community school in the Yetebon region of Ethiopia. The current school has approximately 500 kids in grades 1-6, but lacks basic supplies and has floors and walls that are infested with termites. The children have no working bathrooms, and must defecate in a field not far from the school. The new school will help create a better learning and teaching environment for students and teachers.
Please donate $5. Your donation will improve education in rural Ethiopia, which will then lead to decreased poverty and sickness.
